If I asked you to name your favorite easy weeknight meal, chances are, like me, you’ll name a favorite pasta recipe. One-pot pasta recipes are my new busy day go-to: they’re quick, healthy, and, best of all, there’s only one-pot to clean at the end of the night.

While at my local Martin’s Food Markets store the other day, I picked up some ingredients for this one-pot pasta recipe, including Johnsonville Italian Sausage, Barilla Pasta and Galbani Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese, added them to a pot, and dinner was ready just a few minutes later.

The dinner dilemma is solved. Since the ingredients are few, it’s important to use the highest-quality ingredients possible, starting with Barilla Pasta, Italy’s #1 brand of pasta, which brings al dente perfection to every meal. 

The Johnsonville Italian Sausage is a great flavor “swap” for ground beef and/or ground turkey. In this pasta recipe, I love how all the spices and flavors are built into the sausage– making recipe prep easy and quick.

Whenever I use a good mozzarella cheese, like Galbani Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese, which I used for this dish, I can always tell that I didn’t use a pre-shredded, bagged product. Galbani Mozzarella Cheese is low-moisture, and the shape is conducive to shredding, though you can easily slice it if that’s your preference.
