Here’s what you need:

Materials:

  • Plastic Containers with Lids
  • Free Printable Gift Tags
  • Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates
  • Twine
  • Cardstock for Embellishing (if desired)–here is a link for glitter cardstock, currently on sale!

Step 1: Clean your containers, and fill with Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates.

Using a craft punch, punch out circles out of cardstock to decorate the tops of your containers. If you don’t have a craft punch, you can easily trace and cut out cardstock with scissors, instead. Using hot glue, attach circles to the tops of your containers.

**Disclaimer: Please exercise caution when using hot glue guns. Completed craft is for decorative purposes only, please do not eat candy included in the craft.

Step 1: Cut your cardstock into tree-shaped triangles. Hot glue a toothpick to the back of each “tree.” Then, glue a bow or embellishment to the top of the tree to act as a tree topper.

Step 2: Glue on your tree decorations. I thought these lights were so fun, but, really, anything goes-buttons, pom poms, washi tape, stickers…there are so many ways to customize these.

Step 3: Insert a tree into a Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolate (this acts as your tree stand!)

I think these are SO FUN as a centerpiece…use unsweetened coconut as “snow”, and display them down the middle of your dining table. This would also be a fun craft to do with the kids come winter break!
