For me, the best part about game day is the food. Whether we’re hosting a crowd large or small, the refreshments always seem to take center stage. With that in mind, I wanted to create some delicious, easy and fun for the big game.

Enter these easy Pizza Sliders…

Don’t they look fantastic? Paired with a glass of Warsteiner Pilsener (or any other pilsner-style beer), our game day menu is off to a great start.

As usual, I headed to Kroger to get the ingredients I needed, starting with Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics Sweet & Soft Slider Buns. Pepperidge Farm is our go-to for quality bread to make our tailgate/homegate meal the best it can be (be sure to check out the Kroger Game Day Greats site for coupons and discounts on Pepperidge Farm and other game day favorites!)

Warsteiner Premium German Pilsener, one of Germany’s leading brands, is a refreshing, pale gold with a clean, crisp taste, and is perfectly balanced with hints of barley malt (check out their packaging for a $3 mail in rebate!) Needless to say, Warsteiner (or any other pilsner) pairs perfectly with my easy Pizza Sliders.

After gathering your ingredients, simply assemble the sliders, make the herb-butter topping, and bake!

Kroger is the best place to find both Pepperidge Farm Bakery Classics Sweet & Soft Slider Buns and Warsteiner Premium German Pilsener (or any other pilsner beer) as well as other game day family favorites!

How do you plan on celebrating game day with your family and friends?

Step 1 is missing--I presume that tells what temperature to set the oven to?!? Could you update and add that info, please?

Sliders are White Castle hamburgers! Everyone is misusing the name. They are called that because they slide right out, if you get my drift. ☺
