reinvented {galvanized buckets}

Hello, sweet readers!
I’m starting a new feature on the blog today called “Reinvented.” Basically, it’ll be a compilation post of outside-the-box uses and tutorials for some very basic, inexpensive items. We’ll be taking ordinary items and seeing how folks are using them in extraordinary ways…are you with me?

Galvanized containers are inexpensive, readily available and versatile. I find mine at Target, Lowes and Ikea, for around a dollar if I’m lucky. So without further ado, here are 21 unique ways to decorate and celebrate with galvanized containers.

decorate

amazing bucket light from buckets of burlap
designrope covered galvanized bucket from homework
how to cover a galvanized bucket from Joy’s Hope
galvanized bucket herb garden from young house love
galvanized bucket sink from apartment therapy
hanging magazine pail from coisas da orlas

how to make magnet labels and fabric liners for pails from infarrantly creative
galvanized tin and lace/doilies from burlap+blue

celebrations and gifts

bucket advent calendar from fabulously french
fabric covered galvanized bucket from celebrate creativity
hanging galvanized bucket for wine and drinks from bhg
July 4th party pail/favor from Southern Living

Crazy, huh? Hope you found a project to add to you DIY to-do list-I know I did!

Have an idea for a future Reinvented post? Let me know in the comments!

I love these ideas - especially the galvanised white bucket with paper poms poms. So bright & pretty.
