It’s a fact you’ve probably heard before, but only 1 in 10 Americans eat the recommended amount of veggies. Because of this, I’m always on the lookout for ways to get my family to eat more fruits and veggies.
So while in Kroger the other day, I picked up Garden Lites muffins, and was excited to discover that their chocolate muffin is made of almost 33% vegetables! I couldn’t wait to get home and share them with my family to see what they thought.
So, THIS is how we usually feel about vegetables in our house…
…and THIS was our reaction to Garden Lites muffins!
My kids loved both the Chocolate and Blueberry Oat varieties, and I loved that they are getting their vegetables and enjoying it, too!
Garden Lites muffins are both delicious and nutritious (vegetables are the first and main ingredient in all products), and, because of this, they will making frequent appearances in my kids’ lunches and as a grab-and-go snack!
I am always drawn to simple and convenient ways to feed my family more veggies, and the clean ingredients in Garden Lites products make these a new favorite! Better still, Garden Lites products are gluten, dairy and nut-free.
I love that I have a new secret weapon to get my kids to eat more veggies. It’s one less battle to fight and I feel better knowing that we are NOT the 1 in 10 who isn’t getting enough vegetables.
Have a picky eater in your life? Try Garden Lites products, then come back here and leave a comment with your experience! I’d love to know what you and your family thought of them!
