Ready or not, the new school year is just around the corner. For me, quick, easy, and kid-friendly meals are a must during these super-busy months (I imagine you’re in the same boat)! So, today, I’m sharing a recipe for Easy Chicken Burrito Bowls, with all ingredients conveniently found at Walmart!

I built this recipe around these three, delicious Campbell Soup Company products: Swanson® Premium Chicken, Pace® Chunky Salsa, and V8 Splash®. Hover over the image below to be taken to Walmart.com so you can easily shop these delicious ingredients!

The Swanson® Premium Chicken is what truly made this an easy, one-dish meal (always a plus on busy weeknights). It’s already cooked, low fat, heart healthy, and ready to add into any quick dish!

Pace® products are perfect for adding a kick to your everyday recipes and snacks. It’s made with hand picked veggies, and good on anything (except, maybe, ice cream). I love how versatile Pace® products are, and with a variety of textures and heat levels, it’s perfect for all sorts of recipe applications.

With great taste and nutrients, V8 Splash® is already a favorite in our household. Made with real fruit and vegetables, it’s a lineup of indulgent flavor blends that accompanies any meal perfectly. It’s a better for you, all family refreshment!

Full recipe instructions are below! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 Can Swanson® Premium Chicken
  • 1/4 Cup Pace® Salsa
  • 1.5 Cups Dry Rice
  • Bunch Cilantro, Chopped
  • 3 Limes
  • Can Black Beans, Cooked
  • Sour Cream
  • Pico de Gallo
  • 1 Avocado, Sliced
  • Roasted Corn Salsa (Optional: Recipe Further Down in Post)
  • V8 Splash®

Cook rice according to package instructions in dutch oven. Once cooked, add juice of one lime and 2 tablespoons (or to taste) of cilantro.

Layer remaining ingredients over rice. Serve warm.

Just prepare your rice (I used white, but brown would work, too), and then layer on all ingredients! Since the chicken is pre-cooked, no additional cooking is needed!

Here’s the rice all cooked, ready for the rest of the ingredients to be layered on…

This was so, so easy, and was loved by the whole family! Even better, leftovers the next night were even better!

Because I had a few extra minutes, I decided to make an easy Roasted Corn Salsa to go with our Chicken Burrito Bowls…

  • 1 Package Roasted Corn (You Can Sub in Regular Corn)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cilantro
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 2 Tablespoons Diced Jalapenos
  • Pinch of Salt

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix together and place in the refrigerator for half an hour for flavors to combine.
