It’s been a while since I’ve done a Friday Favorites post…or posted anything on a Friday, come to think of it. Such is life, but I’d love to start it up again-time and little ones willing. Some favorites from this past week…
I’ve been lucky to have read some amazing books lately …Quiet is one such fascinating read. It’s an engaging book about “The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking.” No matter what your personality type, this is a well-researched, thoughtful and enlightening read.
I purchased Well-Read Women for a Christmas gift…and then promptly bought one for myself. It’s a beautifully illustrated watercolor compilation of women in literature and their famous quotes. Click through to Amazon to take a peek at some of the illustrations. So lovely!
This Handmade Home post-Lessons Learned in Staying Put resonated with me on so many levels. Whether you feel the need to upsize your home, or trying to be content with where you are, this post is for you.
Busy isn’t Respectable Anymore. “Being busy used to make me feel important. It made me feel like the world needed me, like somehow I was more valuable or valid when busy. Perhaps that’s why I wore it like a badge and quickly resorted to it when people asked how life was.” Lots of truths here.
