In short, you’ll need some inexpensive craft pumpkins.

These are easily found at a craft store, or you can get a large bag of them here.

To make it easier to choose your pumpkins, look for ones that have the shallowest ridges.

A mostly even surface will help when it comes time to write on your pumpkins.

Next, look for a paint pen that has a pointed tip (verses a chiseled tip).

I love this one because of the shimmery, shiny gold ink! It truly looks like gold foil once it’s dry!

This step is optional, but highly recommended!

Use a pencil to sketch out your word or phrase (including embellishments!) on your pumpkin.

Some words to consider: home body, thankful, grateful, give thanks, hello fall, hello autumn, the “__” family, etc.

Trace over your words with your pen, let dry fully, and that’s it!
