Our printables are so easy to download and print out. Just follow these steps:

  • Click on the printable(s) you’d like to download, and save to your computer.

  • Send to your favorite photo printer to have printed on either matte cardstock or photo glossy paper (at-home printing is, of course, an option, but I find professional printers usually print colors and images more vividly and clearly).

  • Printables print best at 8×10 or 8.5×11. You may be able to print larger! When you upload the file to your photo processor, they’ll inform you if the size you choose is doable without losing resolution.

Personally, I love Walgreens, Target and Staples for photo printing. They are inexpensive, fast, and the prints usually have great quality.

  • Frame, display (or gift!) and admire!

What a fun gift idea this would be a for a unicorn-loving friend! Print, add a frame if you’d like, and you have an inexpensive and creative gift idea.

First, though, a little trivia:

Where did the word “unicorn” come from?

According to dictionary.com, the word “unicorn” was borrowed into English by the early 1200s from French.

Unicorn comes from the Latin unicornis, meaning “having one horn.” This root joins uni-, meaning “one,” and cornu, “horn.”

In popular culture, the word “unicorn” has gone on to name “a person or thing that is rare and highly valued,” whether that’s a billion-dollar startup—or that special someone in your life.

So now you know about the origin of the word unicorn, let’s get to free printable…
