Let your kids see you being kind, and they will want to be kind themselves.

These are ten of the most popular and easy-to-do acts of kindness.

  • In a drive through, pay for the car behind you
  • Hide a painted rock for someone to find (here are some favorite painted rock ideas)
  • Give someone a compliment
  • Hold the door open for the person behind you
  • Send a card or postcard to a friend in the mail
  • Venmo someone a few dollars to buy a coffee/hot chocolate
  • Let someone go in front of you in a checkout line
  • Smile at a stranger
  • Let someone go ahead of you in traffic
  • Make a donation to a person’s favorite charity or nonprofit
