First/Last Day of School Sign-Editable Canva Sign
This first day of school sign is editable! Download and edit to use again and again.
First Day of School Editable Sign
We've been creating and sharing these first/last day of school signs since 2015.
While we love making these posts twice a year, we recognize that there is an easier, more user friendly way to share this design. Moving forward, you can edit, download and print this school sign whenever you need it!
All you have to do is head to the design, edit it, download it to your computer and print out!
As always, feel free to send pictures of your kids holding these signs. We love to share these on social media!!
I hope this is an easier way to help you access this design! Thanks for reading!
Thank you for all your time with these and for sharing the file! I have been using your first/last day signs since my daughter went to preschool in 2017. Every year when I came back to your site, I was excited that you were still posting them.
Thank you for doing these year after year and now sharing the file to edit! I've been using the first day signs since 2017! I will say I come to your site every year holding my breath and praying you haven't stopped making them. I am beyond thrilled I will be able to continue the tradition from Pre-K to 12th grade! Thank you!
@Sarah, Same girl- I have this going back to kindergarten with my oldest and he is starting high school tomorrow!!
Thank you for posting these! I noticed that the design on the canva link is not the same. Might it have been changed by someone else? I have been using your signs since for 8 years now! I love that I can continue the tradition!
When I open it in Canva it does not have the same background. How can I find the right background (not white). And same sentiments, have been using these signs for many years!! Thank you!!
Hi! Thank you for these signs, I have been using them since 2019! I am having a hard time editing them on canva, the background is just a solid black and it will not let me edit the grades. I need and first grade and third grade with the chalk background! Thank you
I have been using your signs since my first daughter was in preschool! She's now going into 7th grade!!!! I can't thank you enough for always doing these! Thank you!
HI, thank you so much for making these printables available for so long. I have been using them since my kiddo was in elementary school and now he is in high school! I am having trouble accessing the file. When I click on the link it takes me to canva and says I don't have permission to see the design. Would love your help to be able to download so that I can update for this school year.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for being willing to share these! That’s so generous of you! I do have to say that it’s locked for me and will not allow me to edit it (even though I have a canva account). Any advice?
I cannot edit in Canva…it is locked. I need 11th grade for tomorrow morning! Help!
So the editable Canva is a great concept. Unfortunately, it’s been edited by others and is now locked. Huge bummer.
Wow! Thank you so much for creating an editable design in Canva. We have been printing (and sharing and giving credit to you) these signs since 2015. They are our tradition for the first and last days of school Thank you for helping us make so many memories!
I’m
Not able to download the file. Any help is appreciated!
I’m looking for a 1st day of college sign 2026 please! I can’t download the file. Thank you!
I am so bummed! Canva won’t let me download this without watermarks because the design has “premium content” that I can either pay for or open an account to receive. Is there any way around paying for Canva? I have loved these signs since my daughter was in 4K and now use them each year for all 3 of my children.
Will miss these signs, need a Canva business account to print without a watermark 🙁 Grateful for all the years we did get to use them!
Thank you for these over the years! I've used them since my 6th grader went to Kindergarden... first and last day! The change to a Canva document, however, makes them no longer free. I have a free Canva account and I can't print these without a premium account. Will you be able to post them as PDF or JPG?
I have loved use your first and last day of school signs since my daughter was in kindergarten and is now a junior in high school. I'm so sad it doesn't download anymore without a paid Canva account. I hope you will consider uploading the signs again to your website like you have in the past. I know MANY of us would be very thankful. Thanks for your consideration.
You are the BEST! Thank you for continuing to create these signs every year! I have been using them since 2017 for both of my kids.
I’m so frustrated! I Use your templates every year! Since my son was in 1st grade and he is a senior this year and I can’t figure out canvas! When I try to go to the template it says it is private (or something like that)
