This easy slime recipe that I’m sharing today has an extra fun element to it–it’s glow in the dark! Place in the sun to “charge” your slime, then head into a dark room and watch it glow! Here’s what you need to make it:

Materials:

  • Elmer’s Glow in the Dark Glue (this link is for purchasing all four colors, or click “1-count” below to only buy one color)
  • 1/2 TBSP Baking Soda
  • 1 TBSP Contact Lens Solution*
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Simply empty bottle of glow in the dark glue into a bowl. We made the dark blue today, but definitely plan on other colors in the future.

Next, add your baking soda and stir in well. Add your contact lens solution and mix in. After the slime begins to form, you may want to remove it from the bowl and knead it with your hands. Slime still too sticky? Add a drop or two more of contact solution!

Store in an airtight container. We made our first batch a couple months ago, and it still works great! After a little while the slime will start to dry out (or sometimes separate), when that happens just toss it and make a new batch!

Be sure to watch our quick video to see how easily the slime comes together!

We have other slime options in our our archives! Take a peek and try one or two (or more!) to find our favorite…

This glitter slime recipe was our first! It’s the same as the Glow in the Dark Slime, it just uses different glue. Make several colors; they blend beautifully!

Unicorn Slime is super fun and girly. Use different colors of glitter for a totally different look! This is a fun craft idea for a girls birthday party–or make up a big batch and hand out as party favors or classroom gifts.
