These embroidery hoop tutorials range from easy to more advanced.

Where to Find Embroidery Hoops
First, though, let’s talk about some places to find embroidery hoops for crafting.

Personally, I love finding hoops at estate sales and yard sales.
You can often find them inexpensively, and I’ve found that vintage hoops are often sturdier and appear better quality.
BUT, obviously visiting estate sales is time consuming and hit or miss.
Here, you can find a set of five different sized hoops for under $10.
It’s a great way to have various sizes on hand for different projects.
I also love these hand-stained hoops from Etsy!
Alternatively, you can try searching ebay for “vintage embroidery hoops.” You’re sure to find some unique and fun options!

I love this post, I hadn’t really thought very much about embroidery hoops and definitely wouldn’t have thought about the handy hoop bags for storage. I will definitely be trying this to put my wool and material in. It will be so much easier to find if it’s all in one place.

Thank you for this post! So many great ideas!! I think I’m going to attempt the drum shade to replace a dated light fixture in my hallway. 😁
