As a busy mom with my own small business, my days can get hectic. You can probably relate!

No matter what my day holds, though, I’m always sure to plan an afternoon break. It gives me something to look forward to and helps me relax and refocus for the afternoon ahead.

While on Walmart.com the other day, I noticed two new Swiss Miss products, Swiss Miss Café Blends Mocha and Swiss Miss Café Blends Caramel Macchiato! These are made with made premium imported Cocoa and real Espresso and have half the caffeine as an 8 ounce cup of coffee–which make them perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up, especially paired with my homemade Brown Sugar Cinnamon Scones!

Both Swiss Miss Café Blends have  a delicious cocoa flavor with a coffee boost. They are only available on Walmart.com, so I quickly added them to my cart…

…and two days later they had arrived!

I couldn’t wait to try a cup, but first, I wanted to make my Brown Sugar Cinnamon Scones. I’ll share the process here, but scroll down for a full, printable recipe!

First, gather your ingredients and preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, beat your eggs and add in cream, brown sugar and vanilla.

In a large bowl whisk together your flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Cut in your butter until a crumb mixture has formed (when you squeeze mixture in your hands it’ll stick together, but still have small pieces of butter visible).

incorporating butter

Make a well in the center of your dry ingredients and add in your egg mixture. Stir until combined, being sure not to over mix.

On a floured surface, use your hands to form a circle approximately 8 inches.

Cut into 8 triangles and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes (mine were ready at the 12 minute mark, so keep a careful eye on them). You’re looking for a light golden brown color.

While they are cooking, make your glaze! Simply mix together your glaze ingredients and set aside.

These turned out amazing. Flaky and moist and not overly sweet.

A scone was the perfect accompaniment to my mug of Swiss Miss Café Blends Caramel Macchiato.
