everything’s better with bells and twine

Yesterday, I shared this (re)post on how I gussied up my dining room chairs for the holidays. This year, I wanted to add a little something to take them up a notch…

A little bit of twine, and a couple of paper mache bell ornaments, and voila-chair decor taken up a notch (or several).
And while I had my twine out, I decided to hang one of my favorite Winter signs from my china cabinet.
Do you all know about The Twinery? They are an amazing shop, with an inspiring story and lots and lots of pretty twine. I’m thrilled to announce that I have been selected to be a part of their I Design with Twine 2011 team! What does this mean for you? Lots of twine-related tutorials, discounts and giveaways. Be sure to check out the link above to meet the rest of this fabulous team–they have been putting together some amazing projects and tutorials!
Now it’s your turn…do you currently create with twine? I would love to hear about your favorite applications and thinking-outside-the-box crafts using twine. Part of my reason for being so excited about being on this Design Team is the chance to showcase twine in new and creative ways (especially in home decor). Can’t wait to be inspired by your ideas!

I just made a "Christmas" card holder that would look great with twine!

Looking forward to reading more.
